This section of our website deals with Jewish people.
The first part describes selected Jewish communities around the world; please note that there are many others which are not described here.
The second section provides biographies of a wide range of famous Jews. Those with single names are Biblical personalities, and not all of these are Jewish (Jezebel, for example, was a Phoenician princess who married a Jewish king; her story is included as she is one of the better known characters in the Bible).
